Irish singer to appear on MTV show

Irish soul singer and songwriter Padraig Rushe is set to appear on MTV's 'Get Seen Get Heard'.
Rushe has secured a place in the semi-finals of the show, where 25 performers and groups will showcase their talents during April and May.
The singer secured the place after taking part in Oxjam, which saw events being run across Ireland and the UK in order to raise money for Oxfam.
The artists and groups who took part in Oxjam then uploaded footage of their performances to the MTV website, where members of the public voted for their favourites.
Almost 200,000 votes were cast to determine which 25 acts would make the semi-finals.
Speaking about the competition, Rushe said: "I'd really like to thank everyone who voted for my music and the Industry Experts from MTV for this opportunity. I can't wait till the show airs."
Rushe has been performing with the Dublin Gospel Choir for the last six years.
